crossroads to fury

Hey everyone. I had a lot of spare time on my hands so I thought it would be a good idea trying out a hobby and I decided to have a go at making a game . I had no experience in programming but heard about Godot's easy to use UI and coding language so I thought I'd dabble in making a beat-em up game. Well, here it is , a beat-em up game, but with loads of bugs...lol. 

After five years of this I've gathered I was never cut out to be a programmer. Nevertheless, I shan't give up.  This has been for the most part an interesting experience and I'll probably continue with it as a hobby as such.  As a bonus, see if you can make to the end of the level without bugging the game ....lol.

The game works with keyboard and an Xbox controller. Controls as follows:

XBOX controller:

A = jump,  B = attack, X = pick up item , Y = special attack, RIGHT_THUMB_BUTTON = reverse punch

KEYBOARD controls:

arrow keys = direction,  J = punch,  SPACE = jump, I = pick up item,   H = reverse punch ,  U = special attack.

If you go near the enemy you auto grab them. holding direction keys left or right (depending which way you face) and press attack will make your player knee the enemy . You can smash the barrel or knock back the enemies to break the barrel etc. 

If the game breaks with a bug , press R on keyboard to reset to main menu.
